Guy has always been pretty cheesy and too much of him in an episode can really be an overkill. Kakashi Sensei & Guy Sensei While there were some good things about this episode there was unfortunately some bad stuff to sort through. These Flashbacks basically seemed to serve as telling us how important it is to Rock Lee to be the best ninja in the world. There was actually one great scene where Guy Sensei told Rock Lee that if Rock Lee dies during surgery then he would die right there also, and Guy telling Rock Lee to have the surgery. Rock Lee and Guy definitely have the best Sensei/ninja relationship and Guy really loves Rock Lee. We saw a scene where Guy made a promise to train Rock Lee to become one of the best. Guy Sensei and Kakashi's harmless rivalry is always funny to watch, because usually it's only Guy that wants the challenge with Kakashi playing it cool most of the time and usually Guy always comes out on the losing end of these things anyway. We also get a pretty funny scene where Guy Sensei plays Kakashi in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, and then adds in the rule that whoever loses has to do five laps around the village on just their hands Guy Sensei loses unfortunately and ends up having to walk around the village on his hands. The fact that he doesn't know any ninjutsu or genjutsu seems like it made him unpopular. The flashback goes farther though this time with Neji insulting him and we see that much like Naruto and Gaara, Rock Lee is another ninja who also wasn't treated too well by other classmates. Rock Lee stands up and makes a speech about becoming one of the best ninja even if he only knows how to use Tai-Jutsu. The flashback takes us back to the day that we saw glimpses of in the Gaara and Rock Lee battle, where we see a young Rock Lee, Neji, and Ten-Ten on their first day of becoming Genin. The whole episode was basically Rock Lee sitting down thinking and him having one big flashback. Throughout the remainder of 2011 and into 2012, the Garo production team showed three-episode blocks of the program before their television premieres at select theaters in Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi Prefecture, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Hokkaido. This week's episode focuses strictly on Rock Lee as he is still pondering whether he's willing to risk his life to let Tsunade perform the surgery that could repair him. Garo Special My Name Is Garo: The History of Kouga Saezima's Battles ( 牙狼〈GARO〉スペシャル 我が名は牙狼―冴島鋼牙 戦いの軌跡―, Garo Supesharu Waga Na wa Garo -Saejima Kōga Tatakai no Kiseki- ?).Leo is also seen to be troubled by memories of a woman (known as Mio) from his past, whom Kaoru reminds him of. The senate includes Grace, a high ranking Makai Priestess and gives out orders in place of the Watchdogs and Kouga's new partner Leo Fudou, a kind hearted Makai Priest and creator of the Goryu previously seen in the film Red Requiem. Subplots to the series concern Kouga's slow-boiling romantic relationship with Kaoru who is trying to get her first picture book published while Kouga tries to keep his seal a secret from her, Rei/Zero having also been marked with the seal and a possible resurgence in his friendly rivalry with Kouga, and the identity of the series antagonist, a red-masked Makai Priest who "seals" Kouga and Rei as part of his effort to destroy all of the Makai Knights and make the Priests dominant again.Īlso introduced is the Makai Senate, which heads the Makai order and therefore over-rules the Watchdogs shown in the previous series. Unlike the previous series, several episodes focus solely on Rei. Yet by the blade of Knights, mankind was given hope." ―Narrator įollowing on from Garo and Garo: Red Requiem Makai Senki follows the continuing adventures of Kouga Saezima as he is promoted to being the Makai Knight to the Senate and how he tries to avoid an untimely demise after being marked by the Seal of Destruction by the series antagonist.
